Start with three weekly questions to help you align your priorities, build trust, and lead with clarity.
Do you want to grow your business, lead a stronger team, and scale your business? It all starts with leading yourself. Every week, I run through three questions that keep me grounded, intentional, and effective. I don’t skip them, and here’s why you shouldn’t either.
1. Where did I lead well, and where did I just react? It’s not easy to admit, but it’s necessary. Ask yourself, “Am I showing up as a leader, or am I only putting out fires?” There’s a big difference between motion and momentum. Motion burns energy, momentum builds progress.
2. Is my calendar aligned with my priorities? Your calendar tells the truth. If it’s filled with distractions instead of the things that move the needle, you’re not aligned; you’re avoiding. Real leadership is about making sure your time reflects your priorities.
3. Where does my team need more of me right now? Leadership is personal. It’s not just about performance numbers or weekly reports. It’s about people who need clarity, coaching, or simply a reminder that someone believes in them.
Success doesn’t come from sprinting harder. It comes from checking your direction weekly and adjusting as needed. When you ask better questions, you get better outcomes. If you’re not auditing your leadership consistently, don’t expect your business to scale.
Start with these three questions every week. Your business will thank you. Your team will thank you. And most importantly, your future self will thank you.
