Three kinds of videos you need to be making and sending to your database.

Do you make videos to send to your database regularly? If not, you should be doing so. It is extremely important to stay active with your sphere of influence (SOI) and make sure they think of you when they need to buy, sell, or invest. However, it can be a daunting project, and many people struggle to figure out what to make a video about. I get it–I’ve been there! To help you with this, here is a list of three types of videos that every agent needs to be making: 

1. Introducing you and your team. Why would a person trust you with such a huge task if they don’t know your values? Make sure your SOI can find out information about you. Also, make sure to highlight what sets you apart. If you have unique programs, go above and beyond, offer some services for free, have a big team with lots of knowledge and experience, or anything else, talk about that in your video. 

2. Market updates. These need to be done regularly, preferably every month. As a real estate professional, you know that the market is constantly changing, so it is your job to keep your SOI informed on those shifts and how the community is affected. Otherwise, how can they make a good decision about their goals? If you are their trusted source, they’ll be ready to give you their business.

3. Education and advice. This point covers a wide variety of topics. My first recommendation is to make a video specifically for first-time buyers. They are more in the dark than anyone, and they need your information on what to do. Second, you can talk about what buyers or sellers should avoid. Help them sidestep common mistakes. Third, you can answer common questions. What is your SOI asking you? If one person asks you a question, odds are that others are wondering about that as well. Plus, this way your SOI is coming up with your video topics for you! 

These three points can keep you going for many videos. Plus, if you ever run out, look at what other people are talking about, and do it better.
