Heidi Smith has been an agent with Jeff Burke and Associates for just over four months. Before real estate, she had a 15-year career with the nation’s largest educational contracting company. She was the director of business development for the Midwest.
She decided to get into real estate because she loves working with people and seeing homes. It doesn’t matter how big the home is, she just says there’s something special about finding a home where you can create memories with friends and family.
Heidi knew Jeff both professionally and personally, so that’s what connected her with this team. In addition, she says that she saw advertisements for the team all over the Lansing area, so she knew she wanted to be a part of a team like that.
She also loves systems. Heidi says her training with the team was fantastic because it was very hands-on. It’s both classroom-based and in the field, working with a dedicated trainer. She says that it doesn’t matter what your background or education is, the system is doable for anyone.
